IP address Change in Site24x7 servers

We have upgraded some of our servers, hence IP address of the server got changed.

So, if you have IP restriction in your server, you have to reconfigure the newer server ip address in the allowed ip list. This is to make sure that our requests come through properly.

The new ip address of our server is as follows:

1. Kansas - 38.105.20.11
2. Los Angeles - 67.203.15.28,67.203.15.29
3. Munich - 178.63.120.180
4. Texas - 174.120.221.72
5. New York - 67.202.79.132

Kindly make the necessary configuration changes to ensure our monitoring requests hit your websites.

We are planning to upgrade our monitoring server in China to a new high end server on January 19, 2011 00:00 AM PDT.

So, if you have IP restriction in your server, you have to reconfigure the newer server ip address in the allowed ip list. This is to make sure that our requests come through properly.

The new ip address of our server is as follows:

China: 114.80.202.202

Download latest web application recorder

In our recent update we have fixed certain issues in the web application recorder. Henceforth we request to download the latest recorder and use the same for recording web applications. You can download the recorder from your site24x7 account login.

With the old recorder you will not be able to save the web application in your site24x7 account. 

Technical issue with Site24x7 server

We faced some technical issues in two of our polling servers since 03 January 2011 7AM PST.  Polling to some of our customer websites, was delayed for more than an hour due to this issue. The issue was due to a bug in one of the third party API used in our code and we sincerely apologize  for the inconvenience caused to our customers.

We like to inform you that the issue is fixed now and the server is back to normal.

We are planning to upgrade our monitoring server in Singapore to a new high end server on December 2, 2010 00:00 AM PDT.

We’ve recently introduced monitoring from Washington DC, US. This server further augment our global monitoring network and takes the total location count to 29. This server is our 11th server in North America.

As the load on our Chicago server is growing, we are moving our monitoring to a new high end server from 27 July 2010 00:00 AM  PDT.
